The registration for MBBS and BDS counselling starts!
Here is yet another start for MBBS counselling registration! But this time it is different because the Tamil Nadu medical selection has started with the registration procedure even before the RE- NEET 2026 result is announced! This is the first time ever that such an event is taking place. Now, all those students who have been eagerly awaiting for the registration can finally feel relieved. For every NEET aspirant, the NEET UG 2026 counselling process is the final and most important stage to secure an MBBS medical seat across TN.But remember, just clearing NEET is not sufficient to secure a seat for MBBS because the admission depends on your All India Rank, marks, category, seat availability, and counselling performance.
NEW USER REGISTRATION
Candidates must visit www.tnmedical selection.org Click “Submit” after entering information such as the candidate’s name, birth date, security pin, NEET UG roll number, application number, and stream (Medical/Dental).
PERSONAL DETAILS SUBMISSION
Candidates must provide information such as their mother’s and father’s names, as well as their address. Press the “Submit” button. The information provided should be comparable to the documents candidates would submit at the time of admission because it should be highlighted that these facts cannot be altered after the fact.
PAYMENT FOR COUNSELLING.
Both a non-refundable registration fee and a refundable tuition charge must be submitted by candidates. Online payment methods such as credit card, debit card, or net banking can be used to pay the costs.
REGISTRATION SLIP
The registration sheet, which can be printed for use in the subsequent admissions process, will appear on the screen following the successful submission of details.

AVAILABLE CHOICES
As soon as the counseling process begins, the “Available Choices” link will become active. The options will be shown on the left side of the screen. Candidates may apply for both categories of seats if they pay the fees for both 15% AIQ/Central Universities and Deemed Universities.
SELECTING THE CHOICES
To choose their options, candidates must click the “+” button that appears next to each desire. The options will move from the left to the right side of the screen as the applicants choose a certain preference.Candidates will be prompted to click either the “Save & Go to Home Page” button to save the options and exit the process, or the “Save & Continue” button to save and proceed.
CHOICE LOCKING
Locking the choices is required for the submission of preferences. Until they are locked, the options can be changed. In the event that candidates fail to lock their selections, the completed options will be deemed final and will automatically lock on the designated date.
Seat Allotment Result
The seat allocation outcome will be announced following each round of counseling. The seat given to the candidates will be made available upon the release of the NEET counseling results in the form of the seat allotment list and seat allotment letter. The NEET seat assignment list allows candidates to view their name, roll number, allotted category, candidates’ category, allotted college, quota, and course. Along with other required documents, the seat allotment letter is a crucial document that must be submitted upon reporting to the designated college.

To finish the admissions process, candidates must report to the designated college.
