Three institutions of Tashkent and 2 branches of TMA will be merged into one centralized university.

Tashkent State Medical University will be established on the basis of the Tashkent Medical Academy, the Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute and the Tashkent State Dental Institute.

The Urgench branch of the Tashkent Medical Academy will be given autonomy and reorganized into the Urgench State Medical Institute.

The multidisciplinary hospitals of the Tashkent Medical Academy, Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute and Tashkent State Stomatological Institute will be renamed as the hospitals of the Tashkent State Medical University

The Termez and Chirchik branches of the Tashkent Medical Academy will be renamed the Termez and Chirchik branches of the Tashkent State Medical University;

The Academic Campuses of of all three institutes will also be renamed as the Academic Campuses No. 1, 2, and 3 of the Tashkent State Medical University.
