MCC NEET UG Counselling 2026: Registration Opens August 5 – Important Dates, Eligibility & Complete Schedule

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has officially started the NEET UG Counselling 2026 Round 1 registration from August 5, 2026. Candidates who have qualified the NEET UG 2026 examination can now register online for admission to MBBS, BDS, and other undergraduate medical courses under the 15% All India Quota (AIQ), Deemed Universities, Central Universities, AIIMS, JIPMER, ESIC, AFMS, and other participating institutions. The counselling process is conducted entirely online through the official MCC counselling portal.

Who Can Participate?

Candidates are eligible for MCC NEET UG Counselling 2026 if they:

    • Have qualified NEET UG 2026.
    • Meet the eligibility criteria prescribed by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
    • Fulfil the admission requirements of the participating colleges and universities.
    • Register successfully on the MCC counselling portal within the specified timeline.

Seats Covered Under MCC Counselling

MCC conducts counselling for admissions to:

  • 15% All India Quota (AIQ) MBBS & BDS Seats
  • AIIMS
  • JIPMER
  • Central Universities
  • Deemed Universities
  • ESIC Medical Colleges
  • AFMS Medical Colleges
  • Other participating institutions

The remaining 85% State Quota seats are filled separately through the respective state counselling authorities. Candidates can participate in both AIQ and eligible state counselling processes.

  2. Register using your NEET UG 2026 credentials.
  3. Fill in personal, academic, and contact details.
  4. Pay the counselling registration fee.
  5. Complete choice filling by selecting preferred colleges and courses.

  7. Download and save the confirmation page for future reference.

    • NEET UG 2026 Admit Card
    • NEET UG 2026 Score Card/Rank Letter
    • Class 10 Certificate (Date of Birth Proof)
    • Class 12 Mark Sheet & Passing Certificate
    • Valid Government Photo ID
    • Passport-size Photographs
    • Category Certificate (if applicable)
    • PwD Certificate (if applicable)
    • Provisional Allotment Letter (after seat allotment)
