About Tashkent Medical Academy
On July 19, 2005, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan created the Tashkent Medical Academy. The academy’s first faculty included General Medicine, Pedagogy, and Nursing, with a total capacity of 4662 students. The institute teaches around 765 postgraduates and 205 doctors. The MBBS program at Tashkent Medical Academy is designed to produce highly skilled professionals on 58 chairs by teaching clinical skills. Under a grant for the environment and human health, the institution implemented the “On coordination and monitoring of research works.” The institution has seven independent scientific councils.

Eligibility to Study MBBS at Tashkent Medical Academy
- The candidate must have a combined Physics, Chemistry, and Biology score of 55% for open caste students and 45% for restricted category students.

Accommodation at Tashkent Medical Academy
Foreign students can stay at the First Tashkent State Medical Institute, which offers the following advantages. The institute has five student dorms that can accommodate a total of 1700 students. The dorms of Tashkent Medical Academy are supervised by the TMA administration and the Dormitory Directorate in accordance with academy regulations. A turnstile is installed at the hostel’s entrance to prevent outsiders from entering and to ensure the safety of the students. Student dorms are allocated, as are individual district guards. Each hostel has a common space with a contemporary TV and furnishings, a kitchen, computer rooms, and a library.
