The University of Nis was established in 1965, and it quickly turned into the beating heart of the city. For half a century, the institution has been an educational beacon for generations. Today, the public university consists of 13 faculties with more than 20,000 Serbian and international students. The university’s main building and the Faculty of Medicine are located in the Nishava River Valley next to the scenic Suva Mountain.
Nis is the third-largest city in Serbia, with over 260,000 inhabitants. It dates back to the 3rd century BC. The city used to be home to many Roman emperors, such as Constantine the Great, Constantius III, and Julian. Nowadays, visitors can traverse both the remnants of the ancient world and all the trappings of modern civilisation in the streets of Nis. Thus, the local student experience resembles an exciting time-travel story with you in the lead role.
The University of Nis is a public research university. Any medical student hoping to pursue their degree overseas must exercise caution and thoroughly investigate the university they are interested in. See the points below to learn more about attending university classes.-
To apply in University of Nis students, need to meet the below eligibility criteria
The University of Nis does not have dorms on its campus. Every student must reside in leased flats close to the college. Students will receive assistance from the local MOKSH agent in keeping numerous apartments prepared for the inspection upon arrival. But before moving into the flat of their choice, students must remain in a private hostel for the first three days while they consider their alternatives.
However, a significant portion of overseas students favour independently renting individual flats. Your monthly rent in Serbia would run you between 100 and 200 EUR, depending on whether you were renting an individual room or sharing. The entire cost of a visit will mostly rely on the dietary preferences, way of life, and lodging of each individual.
The food available around the city might be high-priced, thus, most international students prefer preparing food on their own. Food prepared by one is not only a healthy option but also cost effective and hygienic as well. To end with, the total cost of food will approximately be about 100-150 EUR per month.
